"Vachel Lindsay's Women"
Springfield - The Vachel Lindsay Association and the Vachel Lindsay Home State Hitoric Site will present the next in the monthly 2007 "Poets in the Parlor" series, "Vachel Lindsay's Women," at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 10th at the Lindsay Home, 603 South Fifth Street.
Maurine Magliocco, Ph.D., who taught English and Journalism for 37 years at Western Illinois University, will be the presenter.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served following the 30-45 minute program.
Tours of the historic home will be offered both before and after the performance. The video "Look Into Your Heart: The Challenge of Vachel Lindsay" may be viewed throughout the day and will also be available for purchase.
